Canning Green Beans





The other day my sister came over and we canned 10 gallons of green beans. It ended up making 25 quarts. We had a lot of fun doing it and it is a super simple process and takes nothing more than some canning jars, seals, and lids(when purchasing the jars, you get all of these things) and then green beans, water and a pressure canner to make sure that the beans are free from the botulism bacteria. We will get another picking soon, so I can't wait to make another batch to keep in the pantry!
